Welcome to Link to Life

Link to Life is a medical alert service that gives you independence and your family peace of mind.

If you're having a medical emergency or need assistance for any reason, just press your Link to Life Help button. You'll speak directly with one of our Response Center operators, who will get you the help you need, right away.

Link to Life requires no long-term contract or commitment. And we're happy to offer a 30-day money back guarantee so you can test the service without obligation. Sign up now by calling 1-877-290-6129.

When you sign up for Link to Life, we collect information such as your medical history, medications, allergies and a list of people (and their phone numbers) you want us to call in the case of an emergency. This allows us to complete a personalized "subscriber profile." As a Link to Life subscriber, you receive a lightweight, waterproof Help button. You can wear this device as a pendant or on a wristband. If you need help for any reason, just press the Help button. The button sends a signal to the base unit, which is attached to your phone line.

Within seconds, the signal reaches our Response Center. There, our trained operators are on hand to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once you have pressed your help button, you can speak with the operator through the base unit. This allows for high-quality, hands-free, two-way communication. If you are unable to answer the phone, we will assume there is an emergency and get you help.

If you're having an emergency, the operator contacts the appropriate medical personnel and communicates the information included in your subscriber profile.

Next, the operator calls everyone you wanted to be notified, which may include your doctor, family members and friends. After an emergency, we follow up to check on your status. If you're hospitalized, we can notify someone to stop the mail or feed your pet. We'll even place a "welcome home" call upon your return.

Personal Reminder Services
You may elect to receive up to three calls daily at predetermined times as reminders to take medication, to complete a daily activity or simply for social reassurance. Personal Reminder Services are performed live by one of our caring, friendly and highly trained Response Center operators.

Smoke Detection Monitoring
Link to Life's smoke detector is designed for use with our LTL 4000 base unit. When smoke is detected, a loud alarm is sounded. This activates the base unit, which transmits a signal to our Response Center.

Inactivity Monitoring
Our Inactivity Monitoring service includes two options:

  • Motion Detection: Our motion sensors initiate a call to our Response Center if there is no activity in your home for a predetermined length of time.
  • Daily Touch-in: This service allows you to indicate that you are up and around by pressing a button on your base unit each day. If you do not check in, our Response Center is alerted and, if necessary, summons assistance. Adaptive Devices For subscribers with limited physical mobility, we supply specialty switches to replace the standard Help button. This allows you to signal for help or answer the phone with a minimal amount of movement.
  • Pillow Switch: Activated by very light pressure, the soft, pliable pillow switch is ideal for subscribers with limited head and limb movement.
  • Sip-and-Puff Switch: This switch can be programmed so that sipping the plastic tube activates one function and puffing another. Ideal for wheelchair-bound subscribers.
  • Wobble Switch: Designed for use by even the most physically challenged and neurologically impaired subscribers, this switch requires only the slightest touch in any direction for activation.
